City of Toronto Solid Waste – Risk Management and Level of Service Strategies

GM BluePlan was retained by the City of Toronto’s Solid Waste Management Services (SWMS) to provide expert consulting services with respect to the development of a Risk Management and Level of Service (LOS) Strategy. The objective was to define performance expectations for physical assets within Transfer Stations, Closed Landfills, Fleet and Bins, whilst providing providing the basis for deriving relationships between planned operating/capital expenditures and the quantity, quality and availability of services provided by the SWMS infrastructure systems.
